Glassly — Terms of Use (EULA)
Language: This document is published in English only. The English text is the sole authoritative version and governs in the event of any discrepancy with a translation, whether machine- or human-produced. The rest of the site is available in nine languages.
By downloading or using Glassly (“the app”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Ownership & intellectual property
The app, its source code, design, user interface, text, graphics, the “Glassly” name, and the logo are owned by Sahaj Sinha (“we”) and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. All rights reserved. Third-party open-source components remain the property of their respective owners and are listed in the app’s “Open source licenses” screen.
2. Licence to you
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you control, for your own personal use.
3. Restrictions — what you may not do
- Copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute the app or any part of it;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code, except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits;
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the app;
- Resell, sublicense, rent, or lease the app;
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices;
- Use the app’s name, logo, or branding without written permission.
4. Subscriptions & billing
Glassly offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions (Plus, billed monthly; Pro, billed yearly), processed by Polar (our merchant of record), which charges your chosen payment method at purchase and at the start of each renewal period until you cancel — manage or cancel any time from your account page at glasslyai.com. Prices vary by region and are shown before purchase. A subscription is linked to your Glassly account and unlocks the app on any device you sign in to.
5. Not medical advice
Glassly is a cosmetic wellness tool. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, and is not a substitute for professional medical or dermatological advice. For any medical skin concern, consult a qualified professional.
6. Nature of the analysis — no guarantee of accuracy
Glassly produces estimates, not measurements of clinical quality. Its readings are generated by machine-learning models running on your phone and are affected by lighting, camera quality, angle, movement, makeup, and many other factors. Results are intended for tracking relative change in your own skin over time under similar conditions, and may differ from an assessment by a qualified professional or from other devices or apps.
We make no representation or warranty that any score, metric, concern, ingredient note, routine or recommendation is accurate, complete, current or suitable for you. Nothing in the app or on this website is a promise of any particular outcome or improvement.
7. Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for decisions you make about products you buy or apply to your skin. Always read a product’s own label and directions, patch-test new products, and stop use if irritation occurs. If you have a skin condition, are pregnant, are taking prescribed treatment, or have any doubt, consult a qualified professional before acting on anything Glassly suggests. Do not use Glassly to delay or replace seeking professional care.
8. No warranty
The app and website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will not be lost.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or for any skin irritation, reaction, injury, cost or loss arising from or relating to your use of, or reliance on, the app, the website, or any analysis, recommendation or content provided through them.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the app or website shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you actually paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) INR 1,000. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sahaj Sinha from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the app, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
11. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Glassly. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date will change accordingly.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
