Glassly (“the app”, “we”) is an AI skincare analysis app. This policy explains what data we handle and why. The guiding principle is simple: your face photos are analyzed on your device and are not uploaded.
The app uses your camera to capture frames for skin analysis. This analysis runs entirely on your device using on-device machine-learning models. Camera frames are processed in memory and discarded after analysis; full-resolution photos are never uploaded to us or any server.
Glassly contains no feature that sends image data to any third party. All skin analysis runs on-device. (An earlier optional classifier that could send a thumbnail to Hugging Face was removed in version 4.14.)
Subscriptions (Plus and Pro) purchased on our website are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record; where in-app purchase is available, billing is handled by Google Play Billing. In both cases the payment processor handles your card or payment details — we never receive or store them. We only receive your subscription status (active / not active) and, for website purchases, the email used at checkout so the subscription can be linked to your account.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not run third-party analytics or trackers, and we do not sell your data.
We share data only with the service providers required to run the app: Google Firebase / Firestore (authentication and account state), Lemon Squeezy (website subscription payments), and Google Play (in-app payments, where available). None of them ever receive your photos — no provider does, because images never leave your device.
Account access is protected by Firebase Authentication, and account records are protected by security rules so that you can only access your own data.
Glassly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
